Frequently Asked Questions

The NAICS is the North American Industry Classification System which is standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments.

For more information check out the link provided below! https://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/

Note: The code is usually 5-7 digits and comes down to specific business types, but the database we have is usually using up to 5 digits to generate an Industry Analysis. For that reason some business types are either too new, or too “niche”, to be defined as an industry for the classification system.

We have a list of databases covering industry analysis, financials, GIS mapping and so on. These databases value thousands of dollars each year and the report we generated are free.

The databases used most are:

  1. IBISWorld
  2. ArcGIS Business Analyst
  3. ProfitCents (Sageworks)
  4. B Plans
  5. Statista
